Mission
The mission of the Logistics specialist is to manage transport, orders and deliveries to customers and the inventory in a pro-active way so we ensure excellent customer service and minimize the working capital of the company in line with the mission of our Customer Center to grow our market share and achieve sustainable profitable growth.

Basic Function
Manage the orders and deliveries of equipment and parts to our customers in an efficient and professional way to ensure that our customers are highly satisfied with the service of Quincy Scales Compressors. Support our customers, the sales and service teams in a pro-active way with accurate information about the delivery times and availability of parts and equipment.

Principle Duties

  • Manage the inventory of equipment and parts in accordance to the policies and procedures in place and to reach the targets set for the working capital of our Customer Center.
  • Process returns to vendors
  • Take stock and cycle-counting
  • Support the Operations Manager in reducing logistic costs, including: transport (inwards and outwards),  administration, (actual and efficiency), and warehouse (actual and efficiency).
  • Book and send equipment, parts and sub-supplier invoices
  • Actively work on on improvements for our organization to increase the satisfaction of our customer, ensure excellent service, and minimize the working capital of the Customer Center
  • Propose changes to, update and implement logistic procedures and policies
  • Support the Parts and Service department with organization of waste management, including the mandatory legal reporting of waste figures. 
 
Education and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years working experience.   
  • Bachelor’s degree, and Supply Chain or equivalent experience preferred.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of logistic processes involved (operational, administrative and analytical).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of a windows based computer environment (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
  • Customer service
  • Flexibility and critical thinking skills
  • Must be organized and have the ability to multitask
