Quincy Compressor LLC makes and sells the highest quality reciprocating and rotary screw air compressors, vacuum pumps and a full line of air treatment components. Our products are used around the world in manufacturing plants, hospitals, climate control systems and any application that requires reliable air assistance.

If you're as tough, dependable and efficient as the compressors we make, then you're the right fit for Quincy Compressor. We are currently seeking a Credit Analyst to join our team!  This position will be based out of Bay Minette, AL, located near the beautiful Gulf Coast.


  • Credit Analysis- Perform credit checks, including compiling customer credit information and determining credit capacity.  Analyze and interpret credit information.
  • Establish and maintain accounts for customer in BPCS, AS 400.
  • Execute collection strategy set in the GetPaid collection tool which involves customer phone calls, emails/letters, dispute management and high level internal communication.
  • Release “hold” orders in accordance with the customer’s account status. 
  • Maintain documents relevant to credit and liens in order to insure full payment, including letters of credit, lien releases, progress payment billing, and retentions.
  • Investigates discrepancies with customers and coordinate with internal departments (e.g.sales, parts, service, marketing) to resolve disputes.
  • Prepare reports, figures, and charts showing credit, collections data and status of accounts. .
  • Assists Credit Manager in report preparation and special projects as assigned.
  • Experience – One to three years experience in a Credit/Collection position with a manufacturing firm
  • Education – Associates Degree in business or equivalent experience (5-6 years)
  • Skills –Must be an independent self-starter with a positive attitude.  Must also be customer service oriented, have excellent organizational, interpersonal skills. High level of professional verbal and written communication, analytical and decision making skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Proficiency in Lotus Notes software applications is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Mainly an office environment, with some exposure to a plant environment.
